When I first started to network my PCs, I bought these cards because they were cheaper than most others. Strange how they keep updating the Dos drivers though. Flaming or offending other users. Promote cracked software, or other illegal content.

3Com 3C905C-TX-M Free Driver Download
I looked in some Intel datasheets and confirmed that it supports more than what the linux driver exposes. Also had a 3c905ctx that was trouble free, and an intel wi9n8. They’re reliable and they work automatically with anything I’ve tried them with. Since you’ve already submitted a review for this product, this submission will be added as an update to your original review.
That laptop has both 3Com and Intel cards available, so from now on I prefer the 3Com. Unfortunately, Win9x does not have built-in drivers for these.
